The Fieldhead is situated in West Looe in Cornwall, only a fifteen minute walk along the waterside to the centre of town. In summer a passenger ferry plies across the harbour mouth. The town beach is popular in the summer months while the rock pools and sandy coves below the hotel provide interest all year round.

	Looe is an old seafaring town with a long history of fishing and smuggling. Just 17 miles west of Plymouth. East and West Looe are split by the river running out to sea with a landmark seven arched stone bridge linking the two sides.
